Wayside Test & Commssion and Engineering

RDS can deliver onsite test and commissioning works for passenger and freight rail as we hold Engineering accreditation with many Australian Rail Infrastructure Maintainers. Additionally we can provide approved test and commissioning documentation for your own testing staff to manage.

We have utilised JIRA Atlassian Cloud for tracking work instruction completion live and can tailor a solution to best suit your needs.

RDS can also provide engineering support for signalling control or power specification, installation, and maintenance.

Asset Management & Upgrade Consultation

 

If you require audit and database updates for an existing corridor or new project, we can assist for many rail networks across Australia. This could include update of asset and maintenance task detail for a corridor several hundred kilometres long with many thousands of items. 

 

We can also provide asset condition assessments or engineering inspections for your own or interfacing network infrastructure, and can create and administer a scalable defect management system.

Consultation is also available for scoping upgrades or interfacing with existing networks and development of functional specifications.

Trainborne Test & Commission and Software Deployment

In addition to wayside and traditional signalling, RDS can provide trainborne Test & Commission for ATP & Autonomous ATO (Automatic Train Protection & Automatic Train Operation). This also includes deploying software across a locomotive fleet and maintaining strict configuration management.

RDS also has the capability to man and monitor onboard systems for behaviour, performance, or general data capture.
